Warriors of the Month is a program designed to recognize our students for their good citizenship. One student from each Elementary classroom and one from each upper class grade is selected per one or two months for special acknowledgement of their efforts. Students receive praise for such actions as excellent attendance, staying on task, helping others, showing respect for others, getting good grades, etc. The student body gathers in the gym to hear how their fellow classmates earned their award and cheer them on. Parents are invited to attend the ceremony and be in a photo along with their child and their child's teacher. A special certificate is posted in the Commons for all to admire.
